The Brits abroad annual report from the FCO has just been published and makes interesting reading if you are a British expatriate or indeed a traveller.
One of the underlying messages in the report is that around 20% of people still travel abroad without adequate travel insurance while many others fail to research the customs and laws of their destination country which can lead to serious consequences.
